Craftin crazy last week!
http://weefolkart.com/
I'm not sure how to do all this posting pictures, and writing about them yet! Everything is backwards. I was on a crafting blitz last week while on vacation. The barrette covers I made were from Weefolkart. She has loads of great (to me at least) craft ideas. I'm going to make a shawl out of plaid cotton,an idea she posted a few weeks ago. I have the material, I just need another day to do it. I made the barrettes for Millie. I'll be seeing her tomorrow night, I can't wait to see how they look on her!
My secret pal at work gave me some fall magazines. One was filled with ideas on how to decorate a pumpkin. This was a little pricey, but luckily the pumpkin was on sale at Michaels, and I think the beads and stickers were on sale too. Some are rhinestone beads I had to glue on , others are rhinestone scrap booking stickers that are all connected. I made it for my secret pal, and am going to print a picture to give to whoever has my name,so she can see I used them for an idea. The other pics is my fall, front porch. I bought the mums which havent bloomed yet,but they will be an orange-red color. Do you think it looks ok?
I was on vacation a week ago. My husbands birthday and mine is 3 days apart. We went on a trip to Amish country on Tues and Wed. We enjoy antiquing, and that's how we spent our time. There were 2 new antique stores-one a store, another an antique mall. I browse quickly,my husband is a turtle. He loves to looook at everything. Needless to say, after one visit to a store, he was still browsing, I was done. I told him to be done by 2pm, he wasn't, I was hungry and told him he had to quit! I had walked over to the restaurant, sat on the front porch rocker, and waited......and waited.... I had to pull him away! He returned the next day to finish his browsing, while I went to a craft store I always visit when we go up to Berlin. We do our own thing many times because he lingers more than I do,and I like to use my time wisely while we're vacationing.
One of many beautiful Amish farms.
This gentleman was riding home after work, I assume. This area of Ohio is very hilly. He was riding toward a hill! This is what he does everyday, more than likely. Whew!!!
